DESCRIPTION:Clarissa’s Battle: Growth of a Movement\nSocial Justice Warrior Clarissa Doutherd leads a tenacious battle to build a coalition fighting for child care and early education funding. Her coalition grows into a diverse movement that becomes larger and more determined with each setback. \nAbout the event \nThis Oakland Premiere will be sponsored by Oakland Starting Smart and Strong\, Parent Voices Oakland and BANANAS. \nDavid and Lucile Packard Foundation & Hellman Foundation Fund are the funders for this event. \nThere will be a short reception prior to the film with appetizers starting at 1:30pm. Child care will be available on site. Please RSVP and note the number and ages of your children. \nThe film starts at 2:00pm and it is 90 minutes.
