The Workgroup brings together educators\, families\, and community partners committed to strengthening the city’s high-quality\, equitable preschool system. The meeting will feature updates on the Kindergarten Readiness Inventory (KRI) and presentation of the Equity Action Plan and Theory of Change.\n \nParticipants may join in person or online\, with Cantonese and Spanish interpretation available for online attendees. Register for further details. \nAbout San Francisco’s UPK Mixed Delivery Planning work \nUniversal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) in San Francisco takes a comprehensive and multi-layered approach to enhance UPK education within a mixed-delivery system.  \nTo do this work\, San Francisco has established: \n\nA UPK Mixed Delivery Steering Committee composed of San Francisco Unified School District\, San Francisco Child Care Planning and Advisory Council (CPAC)\, Department of Early Childhood (DEC)\, Children’s Council of San Francisco\, and Wu Yee Children’s Services.\nA UPK Mixed Delivery Workgroup consisting of center-based and family child care providers\, R+Rs\, community-based organizations\, and policymakers was created to support the operational and tactical aspects of the UPK expansion in a mixed delivery system. \n\nThe next UPK meetings are scheduled for: \n\nJan 29\nMarch 26\nMay 28
