Every three years states and territories receiving CCDF funds must prepare and submit to the federal government a State Plan detailing how these funds will be allocated and expended. DESCRIPTION:In this embodied online workshop\, participants will learn how to integrate movement\, yoga\, and breath work with children in order to increase social-emotional skill development (like confidence and resiliency)\, as well as practice ways to improve teacher physical\, mental\, and emotional health. \n  \nJustine Luong has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Neuromuscular Science and is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. Can you imagine a world where caregiving and caregivers are valued? \nIn honor of Women’s Equal Pay Day—this year recognized on March 24\, 2021\, ECESF invites you to an evening with Max Dashu to discuss women’s caregiving history from an international perspective. Max Dashu draws on her 50 years of research on this subject in a richly expanded visual presentation that explores the role of elders and teachers through storytelling and songs. She will share societies where women’s responsibilities are given more than lip service\, so that those who actually do this crucial work are accorded authority and decision-making power because of it. The budget process is a key period in realizing our priorities in these crucial areas. \n\n\nIn the Feb. 4\, 6pm meeting\, you are invited to share your observations\, opinions\, and priorities on the OEWD budget – early on in the process.\nIn the Feb. 12\, 10am meeting\, OEWD will share how that feedback informed the final budget proposal and provide more detail on the proposed financial commitments for fiscal years 2021-22 and 2022-23.\n\n\n\nPlease register through Zoom in advance. In Circle\, we ground ourselves in the present moment and a welcoming environment of acceptance where each person holds the agency to explore their own personal paths to peace and healing. \n \nIn the early care profession\, we face a daily array of compounded challenges that few people outside of the field can understand. \n  \nRecognizing the weight upon our care professionals especially now\, Early Care Educators of San Francisco is offering this free\, 3-week community-support series of Community Healing Circles for early care educators to come together in reflection and nurturance with fellow peers who know what we’re going through. The Healing Circle is especially for teachers who are currently\, or just before the pandemic were working directly with children\, remotely or in person. \n  \nECESF Community Healing Circles put relationships\, listening\, and hearing at the center of our community. Together\, we explore ways of deepening our capacity to heal\, alleviating our suffering\, and finding meaning in both challenge and joy. \n  \nECESF is organizing to make a difference.
