OEWD Budget Discussion (1 of 2)
February 4, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- This event has passed.
The San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) will hold two upcoming budget discussions on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 6pm and Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10am. These events are fully open to the public.
The OEWD budget for fiscal years 2021-2023 will include investments to deliver relief to workers and businesses, strengthen our diverse neighborhoods, support local nonprofits, build pathways to living-wage careers for our residents, make it easier to start and grow businesses of all sizes in our city, and create spaces for jobs, recreation, community benefits, and affordable housing. The budget process is a key period in realizing our priorities in these crucial areas.
- In the Feb. 4, 6pm meeting, you are invited to share your observations, opinions, and priorities on the OEWD budget – early on in the process.
- In the Feb. 12, 10am meeting, OEWD will share how that feedback informed the final budget proposal and provide more detail on the proposed financial commitments for fiscal years 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Please register through Zoom in advance. If you have any disabilities or language-specific needs, please let OEWD know at least three days before the event so that they may provide appropriate services. If you are unable to attend any of the meetings, we still encourage you to reach out to OEWD at firstname.lastname@example.org to voice your thoughts, wishes, and priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
