Bethica Quinn is lead teacher and program director at Centro Las Olas, a Spanish immersion, parent participation preschool with a child-centered philosophy in the Mission district of San Francisco. She also serves as a Mentor Teacher and teaches at CCSF with the goal of supporting developing teachers of dual language learners in a reflective practice, inquiry based model.
Bethica has worked with SF Educators for Equity (aka The Frogs) and with ECESF to center and amplify teacher and carer voices in pursuit of high quality, equitable and inclusive programs for children and families. With over 25 years of classroom experience including 6 years at the Mills College Children’s School, Bethica brings a perspective grounded in theory, a deep understanding of practice and a commitment to equity.
