Suzy Yu

Suzy Yu is a Educator for Mt. St. Joseph/St. Elizabeth Epiphany Parent/Child Center where she is currently working with older toddlers. She has worked with newborn children to children of 5.9 years old. She has been in the Early Childhood Education field since 1988 when she graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She earned her Associate’s Degree in 1996 in the field of ECE from City College of San Francisco and her Bachelor’s Degree in 2010 in La Raza Studies under a heavy influence in Childcare from San Francisco State University. Her various job titles in her 28 years in the ECE fields have spanned from aide, to associate teacher, to teacher, to mentor teacher, to site supervisor. Suzy has been an active member of ECESF since 2002 and joined the board in 2013. She was a mentor teacher for the CA ECE Mentor Program from 2007 to 2013 and is currently on the selection committee for the Mentor Program.
