Reflecting on earlier conversations focused on working conditions being essential underpinnings of quality, ECE educators talk about what most supports them in delivering quality services, supporting diverse learning and functional needs, and what role teacher agency plays.
In October, All ECESF educators asked and spoke to: “What are the conditions that lead to well-being for children, families and educators in a program? How are they connected?”
At the November All ECESF meeting educators discussed, “What would most support educator-caregivers, families with children, and children with diverse learning or functional needs requiring additional support?”
Educators came together at December’s All ECESF to discuss the importance of, and how to best support teacher agency and retaining skills at the site level.
