Presenters TBD. Alleviating bias in our ECE settings is complex. Creating inclusive classrooms requires that we understand and acknowledge our own biases and recognize verbal and non‐ verbal messages conveyed by other adults and children. We need to know how to address these remarks and actions as they occur without causing a shutdown in communication.
