Merced Rocha is a preschool Lead Teacher at Wu Yee Children’s Services’ New Generation site. She has worked in ECE for over 26 years, with infant-toddler and after-school experience as well. As an experienced Lead Teacher with a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit and a MA in Special Education with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), she works in collaboration with families and staff to create culturally sensitive and inclusive learning environments. She also trains new teachers, assistants, and interns according to the Head Start standards. Merced brings a passion for infant-toddler care and education and insights into supports that make educators successful in earning degrees. She is also a long-term supporter of ECESF and participant of ECESF teacher meetings, Conferences, the Walk Around the Block, and other ECESF activities.
