ECESF Events

The Early Childhood Policy Council (ECPC), under CHHS, advises the Governor, Legislature and the Superintendent of Public Instruction on statewide early learning, care and child development. Attend their quarterly meetings to support recommendations on all aspects of the state’s early childhood system, including support for the demographic, geographic and economic diversity of the state’s children

The SF ECE Advocacy Coalition (SF ECE AC) and Childcare Planning & Advisory Council (CPAC) Policy Committee have been organizing around child care and early education. This advocacy is primarily local and state but includes federal advocacy when needed. This November, we're hosting a joint public policy retreat for those that want to get involved
